Three packs moved enough to be worth calling out.
Ruby Super went from -2.1% to +44.0%, the largest gain of the week in absolute terms. Diamond Football clawed back ground too, moving from -31.3% to -10.3%, still negative but meaningfully less so. In the other direction, Special Series Quarterback Pack slid from -19.2% down to -36.0%, the sharpest deterioration we measured.
Top pulls
Five pulls cleared 60x the pack price, which is an unusually clean cluster at the top.
- A Tom Brady from 2025 Topps Chrome came out of a Silver Football pack, valued at $3,472. That's a 69x hit on the pack price.
- A Justin Herbert from 2020 Panini National Treasures was ripped from a Ruby Football pack at $17,000, 68x the pack price.
- A Shohei Ohtani from 2022 Panini Diamond Kings was pulled from a Gold Baseball pack at $6,152, a 62x hit.
- Two M Rayquaza EX cards from 2015 Pokemon XY JPN were each snagged from a Special Series Japanese Pokemon Day pack at $4,591 apiece, both coming in at 61x.
+EV crossings
16 packs crossed into positive EV territory at some point during the week. Whether they held there is a different question, but the crossing count gives a rough sense of how active conditions were.
Hotter than last week
This is the part worth noting. Positive readings accounted for 16% of all readings this week, compared to 2% the prior week. That's an 8x jump in share. Last week was genuinely quiet, one of the flattest stretches our tracking has recorded. This week was not. It wasn't a runaway bull market either, most packs spent most of the week below break-even, but the contrast with W30 is hard to miss.
Ruby Super drove a lot of that improvement on its own. Strip it out and the picture looks more modest.
